Effect of Particle and Environmental Variables on Flowability of Granular Materials
The purpose of this research is to attempt to design a novel set of characterization tools to relate granular material physical properties to their performance in handling and conversion operations. Different forms of organic materials were ground into a granular form and individually put into a Freeman FT4 Powder Rheometer. This rheometer then measured the physical and performance properties of these materials. With these results, the researcher expects to deliver empirical relationships between physical parameters and flowability using power-law verification.
